November 8th - "Do Not Fret"

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life."    Philippians 4:6-7 The Message

I thought you might need this reminder today, I certainly do. Isn't it wonderful the transformation that takes places when we turn our eyes off the problem and on to the Problem Solver. Jesus never fails and He never will. He will not fail you. Never! This passage is so good I want you to read it again slowly.

Pastor, thank you so much for this reminder to pray. Sometimes in all the stress of my career and what the Navy has me doing right now, I lose sight of praying and let the worrying and stress take over. I Thank GOD everyday for you and Harvest for coming into my life at this very important time and can only hope, that if I have to leave VA, that I can find a church like this one. You all are a great addition to my family and I look forward to serving everyday I can with you. Thanks again for this wonderful reminder.
