November 20th - "Distress Call"

"From my distress I called upon the Lord; The Lord answered me and set me in a large place. The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"    Psalm 118:5-6

Are you in distress? Here is your daily reminder for the day: The Lord is for you! At times there can be so many things against us that we need to stop and reminded ourselves Who is for us. The Apostle Paul knew great distress and yet he writes from a prison cell, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?" Romans 8:31-32 What are we to do in times of great distress? Call upon the Lord and shed fear by reminding yourself that the Lord is FOR you. "The Lord answered me and set me in a large place."
